The Fox Racing Proframe's chin has a large, open air intake, so the mount is shaped to sit in that flow and block as little of it as possible while still giving the camera a genuinely stable platform. Zip ties through the helmet's own vents hold it — no adhesive tape, no changes to the helmet — and the standard GoPro foot fits DJI and Insta360 too. The camera mounts high on the chin, which clears a neck brace and cuts the torque and weight-offset you'd get from a lower position.

The same mount also fits the Fox Racing Proframe RS.

FAQ

Will it fit my exact helmet?

Each mount is designed for exactly one helmet at the model year shown above. The fit is tight. The model year is on the sticker inside the helmet. If you're unsure, email me a photo and I'll confirm the right version before you order. How to find your model and year →

Will it damage my helmet?

It needs no modifications to the helmet at all. The mount threads through existing vents in the helmet with zip ties that spread the load over a wide area — no teeth or claws gouging the EPS liner the way clamp mounts do.

Is it durable? How do I look after it?

It's printed in durable PETG and handles normal riding and the usual knocks — riders have had them survive real crashes intact. It's still a printed part, so after a hard impact give the mount and the zip ties a quick check for cracks or looseness, and swap the zip ties if in doubt. Otherwise just wipe it clean.

Do the mounts work with a neck brace?

Most do. Cameras and neck braces come in different sizes and shapes, so I can't promise every combination — but I've specifically flagged the mounts that sit high enough on the helmet to guarantee neck-brace clearance. Look for the “Guaranteed neck-brace clearance” label on the product page. Unsure about your own brace? Email me a photo.

Does it affect my helmet's safety or certification?

Zipmount is a camera accessory, not safety equipment — it does not improve or replace your helmet's protection. I am not the helmet maker and have not re-tested the helmet with a mount fitted, so I cannot speak to its certification; attaching any accessory may affect it. Follow your helmet manufacturer's guidance. More on the safety & instructions page.

How does shipping work?

I usually pack within 1–2 business days. In Finland the parcel typically arrives within 2–4 business days, elsewhere in the EU typically within 4–8. The mount is €19; shipping is added: €6 to Finland, €13 to the rest of the EU.

Can I return it?

Yes. 14-day right of withdrawal. Email me to withdraw — return shipping is on you. Details in the terms.

Reviews

A really high-quality, durable mount. It fits the helmet perfectly, the angle is excellent and installation is easy. I even got to test the durability for real — I took a fast crash and the camera hit the ground, but the Zipmount came through completely intact. That says a lot about the product's quality. Fast delivery and excellent service top it all off. Highly recommend! 💪🔥

Ordering and delivery were fast, no complaints. I've had an older GoPro on the mount a couple of times now — the mount itself works well; it's the GoPro's stabilization that's over ten years old 😅. At least in my own riding the camera hasn't shifted on its own while mounted. I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to film POV downhill footage.
