Which helmet
do I have?
Every Zipmount is designed for exactly one helmet — a specific model and model year. Here's how to identify yours in a couple of minutes.
Check the shell.
The brand and model name are almost always on the helmet's shell — a sticker or print on the side, the back or the chin bar. The model name is the exact name to look for in the list, e.g. Gravity 8.0 or Proframe RS.
The sticker tells the year.
The model year is on the sticker inside the helmet — the same one that shows the size and certifications. Most manufacturers print the month and year of manufacture on it.
The same model name can mean a different helmet in different years: vent positions can move in a model update. That is why, for example, the Leatt Gravity 1.0 has separate mounts for pre-2026 and 2026-onwards model years.
Not sure? Send a photo.
If the model or year stays unclear, email a photo of the helmet to info@zipmounts.com — I will confirm the right version before you order. A shot of the side and of the sticker inside is enough.
One helmet, one mount.
A Zipmount threads through the helmet's own vents, and its shape is fitted to that exact chin bar. That's why the fit is tight and the mount doesn't fit other models — and why picking the right model and year is the one thing worth doing carefully.
