MTB downhill number plate for dual-crown forks.
A number plate for the dual-crown fork of a downhill bike. Four hooks and four zip ties hold it on the stanchions. The plate is curved so shifter and brake lines can run behind or in front of it, the notch at the top leaves room for a DH stem, and the height is set so the plate clears the fork arch at full compression. Embossed Zipmounts pattern on the face.

Every plate I tried had to be trimmed before my fork could use its full travel. So I designed one that doesn't need it: set it high on the stanchions, and the fork compresses fully without touching it.

Hooks and zip ties.
The four hooks sit on the stanchions, and each is tightened in place with its own zip tie. Nothing to bolt on.
Routing your way.
The plate is curved, so shifter and brake lines can run behind it or in front, whichever suits your bike's routing.
Room for a DH stem.
The notch at the top leaves space for the stem.

- Hook the plate onto the stanchions.
- Slide it up as far as it goes.
- Loop one zip tie around each hook and its stanchion, and pull it tight.
- Trim the zip-tie tails.
Installed this way, the plate never touches the fork, even at full compression.
